Following a complete overhaul The Sheldon reopened in May 2011 as an upmarket, luxury Bed and Breakfast.
The changes made are evident throughout and provide guests with a greatly enhanced standard of accomodation. A unique feature is the complimentary onsite private car park with a space for every guest. The Sheldons Car Park ensures guests avoid encounters with traffic wardens who keenly patrol the seaside areas.
2011 season was successful and enjoyable for Sheldon staff with online reviews posting a 95% level of satisfaction.
As a year1 business the staff were rewarded with 8.9/10 on Booking.com and 4.5/5 from Eviivo guests. Both agencies are credible review forums with real guests.
2012 The Sheldon expects to improve its ratings and customer satisfaction with the appointment of a General Manager who has many years in the hospitality industry. The manager and team look forward to welcoming our guests and providing a high level of customer service.
Our bed & breakfast accommodation is of a very high standard. We have guest rooms that range from classic singles to doubles, twins and family rooms that provide the platform for a perfect holiday or short break.
All bedrooms are ensuite and are beautifully decorated, having flat screen tvs with 110 satellite channels, hospitality trays and designer toiletries.
A variety of features are provided to guests.. free WiFi, an elevator, comfortable lounges and a stylish contempory dining room.
