Our Rooms

Our 21 bedrooms are beautifully furnished with exceptionally comfortable beds and crisp white cotton bedlinen. Features include flat screen satellite tvs in all rooms, hospitality trays, ensuite shower rooms or en-suite bathrooms. We also provide accessories for our guests such as alarm clocks, blankets, extra pillows, fans, hot water bottles, hair dryers and ironing facilities.

Classic Singles

For the single traveller our classic singles provide everything you need to guarantee a very comfortable stay. All have en-suites with bath or shower and 22'' flat screen satellite televisions.


Classic Doubles / Twins

Our doubles and twins are all individually styled and many feature beautiful Victorian windows. Guests are provided with all the modern comforts to ensure a very comfortable stay.

Superior Rooms

These bedrooms provide extra space and comfort for our guests. Each has a Super King size bed, large ensuites many with bath and shower and 32'' flat screen televisions.


Family Rooms

Our family rooms are large and spacious enabling families to sleep in comfort. Family rooms have a large Super King size bed with sofa bed or single bed depending on our guests preference. Travel cots are also provided and available on request.

The ensuite bedrooms on the first and second floors are accessed via the lift or wide stairway.
Four of the superior / family bedrooms are accessed via a private ground floor entrance as well as via reception. These bedrooms are particularly suited to those with mobility concerns, families and those preferring ensuites with bath and shower.
The top floor has two charming attic double bedrooms that are accessed via lift followed by staircase {less than 20 steps}. Both have lovely views over Eastbourne and are furnished to the same high standard as those below.

The Sheldon Breakfast Menu

Freshly brewed Columbian filter coffee and a wide selection of teas, English breakfast, Earl Grey, Fruit, Herbal teas are available.

Scrambled Eggs on toast
with a variety of herbs

Omelettes  {new for 2012}
served with either or combination of ham, cheese, mushrooms, onions

served with choice of toast

A wide variety of cereals, fresh fruits, yogurts, fruit juices
All of our breakfasts are served with toast accompanied by preserves and honey.

For those wishing to have breakfast delivered to their rooms, orders are taken the previous day/evening. There is a charge of £5 per person for this service.
